The Australian sea lion is endangered and it is estimated there are only 6,500 known Australian sea lions remaining in the wild. One of the main threats is entanglement in marine debris, such as old fishing nets. Sea Lions are similar but different to Seals.

A portion from the sale of these socks is donated to charities that help protect endangered species (FAME).

The sock is knitted in extra soft navy bamboo, which is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and odour resistant.
