A cotton cotton with what feels like shearling trim in a darker black around the collar. This features a handy feature - removable lining. The lining itself is a grey quilted fabric, with pockets within, which can be detached via buttons. The outer enclosures are large metal buttons - these have unfortunately stained the pockets of this jacket and unfortunately two buttons are missing from the front.
